WinZip

I am staying away from this one for now. Once I have one of my other computers ready to be a trial machine I will give it another go.

WinZip has been around for as long as I have had a computer. It was the go to program to deal with compressed files. Compressing files was also a major part of the internet when I started using computers. Large files at the time were anything over 3 MB as we were all using dialup modems.

I recently downloaded WinZip 28 and installed it on my computer. Now I am not going to blame it on WinZip but I had nothing but problems after installing including, BSODs, odd file explorer behavior and other random program crashes including WinZip. I was unable to test the program at this time but will soon have a computer that I can clean install Windows 11 and WinZip and give it a go. May also try to find what is on this computer that may be causing the issues.
